Totally Heartfelt

My mother was put in the hospital for what we thought was the flu. She passed away without warning in three short weeks from cancer. This book is a truly remarkable comfort. The song itself really tells it like it is when it comes to life, love, and loss. This book is a good resource to help you through and to remind you that you are not alone, and that things will be okay after the loss of a loved one. Although, I do suggest reading it in privacy the first time, because it will probably make you sob like a baby when you can relate it to your own memories. This book will definitely warm the soul.

Untimely death of a classmate

After the untimely death of one of my classmates,just two days before graduation, Steve Wariner's song "Holes in the Floor of Heaven" became a small stem of comfort for those who knew her. When his book was released, I found out through a local newspaper that a poem written by a former classmate of mine,in remembrance of our late friend, had been published in his book. After purchasing and reading his book, I felt an overwhelming sense of comfort knowing that there are others who know the undescribable pain that is felt after losing someone who is near and dear to you, but more importantly, the faith that we keep in knowing that one day, we will be reunited once again with our loved ones. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who has lost a loved one. This book is definitely a comfort the mind, body, and soul.

We found great comfort

My mother received this book the day my father died. The book contains letters written to Steve Wariner about how this song helped them find some comfort at the time they lost a loved one. It is comforting to know that others have gone through and survived the pain. It provided us an immediate support group. I plan to buy a supply to have on hand in case someone I know goes through this terrible ordeal.

A book/song for everyone

After the death of a close friend I happened to pick up Mr. Wariner's "Holes In the Floor of Heaven". What a comfort this book was to me! Reading these stories helped me to realize that life goes on and we never lose those who are close to us. Now that we are celebrating the happiness surrounding the birth of my niece, I realize that "Holes in the Floor of Heaven" is appropriate for the joyous times in our lives as well. Thank you Mr. Wariner for creating a song that can touch everyone's hearts as well as a book that we will all treasure.

A book and song that pertain to everyone

Steve Wariner has written the most beautiful song and in this book shares with us the letters that he recieved about how his song has touched so many lives, mine included. A wonderful book to share with those you love.
