Hole in My Heart

By Sav Wilkz

In the debut poetry collection from Sav Wilkz, Hole in My Heart explores life and death with heartbreaking honesty. Born with a congenital heart defect, Wilkz had open heart surgery at three years old. From hospital wings to trampolines, Hole in My Heart follows the poet's life from adolescence to young adulthood. With themes of love, loss, and acceptance, Hole in My Heart asks how many times a heart can break and still put itself back together.
