Product Description

Based on the top-selling, award-winning video game franchise, the HITMAN is a genetically-engineered, elite assassin known only as Agent 47. Timothy Olyphant stars in the title role, a mysterious and complex man of profound contradictions: He was bred from the world's deadliest criminals, but raised by an exiled brotherhood of the Church. His very existence seems to be a sin, but he wages a quiet war to rid the world of evil. He's brilliant, charismatic and charming -- yet reveals little about himself, has no name, and is known only by the last two digits of a barcode tattooed on the back of his head.

Formula, but it is a lot of fun to follow the details.

Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant), a genetically engineered hitman, is good at what he does. He is being dogged by Interpol agent Mike Whittier (Doug Scott). The game would keep the status quo. However, Agent 47 was set up in a convoluted plot to change his MO and dispatch the leader of Russia. Now the story gets more complicated, and we have to decipher who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. On top of this, Agent 47 meets Nika Boronina (Olga Kurylenko), who becomes his external conscious and may compromise everybody's mission. Yes, this is a formula movie, and people who are good at guessing can anticipate what's going to happen. However, it's the execution of the details and the people interaction that make this more than just an average movie. You will want to rewatch this movie repeatedly to pick up the nuances that you missed while you are anticipating the next move.
