The best account of V1 and V2 that I have read

I have always been very interested in both the V1 and V2 weapons in particular the V1s. The central concept in this book is that Hitler saw these weapons as a way of keeping the German people hopes alive while the battle became hopeless. As long as the V1s and V2s flew the German people could think that they were striking back. This theory may explain other conflicts like Saddam in Iraq and his scud attacks.
