It covers a period of more than 70 years, from 1869 to 1940. It could be equated to eyewitness reporting of our time.The book is also the autobiography of the author. Teacher Shehadeh documents his life during the late 19th, early 20th centuries. He reports on all the cultural, political, religious, and social changes that took place during his lifetime.
