Early parts of the book are worth 5 stars

This is the best work on the history of Florida. I only regret that the real history in this book stops around 1969. The remainder is a poorly disjointed attempt to discuss all the history in Florida since Gov. Kirk. If you're interested in the history of Florida or the old South, most of this book will serve you well.
