This commentary is not an attempt to dictate any particular result, but merely to inform, by imparting information which may have some value when it comes to the many issues presented so graphicly in the media about the upcoming election. Hundreds of years ago Black people were brought to America, not for the reasons others came, but as slaves. Legalized slavery continued until The Thirteenth Amendment was passed ending it in 1865. However, African Americans confronted myriad forms of discrimination that thwarted their aspirations. As if slavery wasn't bad enough, The Black Codes, literacy tests, Jim Crow laws and other legal roadblocks were used to keep Black citizens in "their place" long after the 13th Amendment was signed. But America doesn't want it taught in the schools to harm the minds of white students with that knowledge because Oh! Snap, it's discrimination in violation of the constitution! Many have chimed in on Reddit.com to speak about the issues surrounding "Critical Race Theory" for in their own states school districts have cut or reduced honors classes for African American studies. Similar changes for America, eliminating or drastically changing existing programs and laws, are set forth in the Project 2025 conservative plan document from The Heritage Foundation , recommended to be implemented by the next US President, entitled "Mandate For Leadership." Apparently, it's been adopted by the Republican Party. It has terms which threaten jobs, pensions, and many other things which benefit our daily lives .
