The research starts in 1962 as the year in which the first teachers' colleges were officially created in Angola as a Portuguese colony, that is, in Silva Porto (currently the province of Bi ) and Malange, and ends in 2013, in correspondence with the application of the regulations on the training plan for cadres, which constitute the current perspectives in teacher training. it consists of an introduction, two chapters, conclusions, recommendations, bibliography and appendices. The first chapter presents the theoretical and methodological references that support the historical study on the training of primary school teachers and an approach to historical research based on periodization as a basic procedure.
