The peace that He gives is not the world's peace. His peace is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand; it will keep your thoughts and your heart quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus. (John 14:27; Phil. 4:7). The hope that is in the words of these pages will give you strength to say, as Job said, "For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again." (Job 14:7).
