This book is inspired by the need for a study guide for adult bible classes held by the Downtown church of Christ in Norfolk, VA. The original topics and reference scriptures were provided by John Hampton; however, many of these have been modified and the text is original. These topics are consistent with the need for spiritual growth and health of any congregation of the Lord's church. As you read through the chapters, they will walk you through some of God's principles for His people based on His scriptures. One fact that permeates is that God asks us to strive for the "perfection" that is available through the blood of His Son! ~ E. J. Williams His Touch of Perfection refers to God's perfecting touch upon our lives. Christians are urged to "go on unto perfection" in Hebrews 6:1. (All scriptural quotations are from the King James Version.) This "perfection"...this maturity...is only possible through Jesus' blood and the Christian's dedication to live in His image. God's Word provides Christians with the moral standards we are to incorporate into our lives in order to become "spitting" images. Though it is not humanly possible to live sinless lives, we can stand before God as a church without spot, wrinkle or blemish (Eph. 5:27) when the blood of Christ touches our lives.
