I LOVED this book!

I am a fan of Emma Darcy- and she didn't disappoint! Captivating! Gripping- I couldn't put it down! The protagonists, Lucy Flippence and Michael Finn, are interesting and their characters were well developed. Enough insight into their characters and motivations were detailed to provide background and explain their reasoning without being redundant. I so admired Lucy's resilience and sunny disposition in spite of her challenges- her unique, positive approach to life. I found it inspiring; something I consider aspiring to. Michael Finn's deep feelings for Lucy provided a glimpse of vulnerability in a strong male character- refreshing and endearing. This is the second book in The Finn Brother Series. I enjoyed the first- "The Incorrigible Playboy" but not nearly as much as this tale. I'd recommend both!
