Still Relevant After All These Years

While this book is now 10 years old, its practical advice is as relevant today as 1999. Even more so! If a manager would follow Mel's advice, they would soon realize the dividends that follow recruiting and hiring the best person they can. As a worker in the human resources field for many years I have seen my share of the costly consequences of hiring the wrong person and then mismanaging the situation thereafter. It causes great harm in many ways to the organization and even greater harm to the poor soul that you have decided to place in the wrong slot.
