Hip Dislocation in Infantile Cerebral Palsy Patients

Hip dislocation in patients with infantile cerebral palsy is variable and depends on the severity of the disease, with the incidence increasing depending on the degree of neurological involvement, and hip disorders have a wide spectrum, from gait disturbances to painful dislocations. According to the global incidence, between 2 and 75% of patients with ICH present hip dislocation or subluxation. Statistics on hip dislocation in patients with ICH are scarce in our country, Ecuador, with incidence at 5 years of age when they have the gait pattern, in the coastal region and as a reference the city of Guayaquil is presented in a smaller number of cases. In our study we can see that the incidence is respected, according to sex there is a high incidence with a percentage of 56% in the female sex, while the male sex has a percentage of 44% incidence. METHODOLOGICAL DESIGN; our study is retrospective, carried out at the HOSPITAL DEL NI O DR. FRANCISCO DE ICAZA BUSTAMANTE from 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2018. Being an analytical study of observational type, by the no man.
