I was given this arc in exchange for an honest review. Hill House Manor: 13 Ghost Stories by Linda Anthony Hill is a collection of stories that takes place in and around the hill house in Gainesville,Texas. The tales aren’t exactly scary but there are a few chills along the way. Some fables are heartwarming and sometimes heartbreaking. These anecdotes are all different lengths the first anecdote was 74 pages while others are barely a dozen pages. Living in Texas not far from Gainesville I wanted to know more about hill house and it’s many occupants. I couldn’t get enough of this infamous haunted house and it’s land. The way the author describes everything makes it so graphic it comes alive in your mind. I can’t wait to read more by this author.
