A wonderful, warm-hearted book!

Kathy Didkowsky and her family set out to do a bold thing: hike across Canada along the Trans Canada Trail. On the way they encountered many adventures and original people with an astonishing array of stories to tell. The book is a fascinating, warm-hearted account of their trip, told in diary form by the various members of the party, with lots of photos and illustrations. It is chock full of insights and poetical observations about the life and people of this vast country.
