Poems by Carol Ann Nasta, who was born and bred in Queens‭, ‬NYC‭, ‬and is a lifelong New Yorker‭. ‬She received BFA and MS degrees from Hunter College‭, ‬and taught mainly early childhood at PS 155‭, ‬Brooklyn‭. ‬She likes to say the kids brought out‭ ‬'the child within‭,‬'‭ ‬and she enjoyed her career‭. ‬She's a jazz‭ ‬enthusiast; has travelled a lot; has been a tour guide at the American Museum of Natural‭ ‬History for over thirty years; she respects and loves animals and is studying Italian, the language of her heritage. High Season: Poems and Musings is her first collection of poetry. The poems were written between the late 1960s and contemporary times.
