Simple but very effective way to memorize Scripture while helping your overall memory
Published by The Old Ranger , 5 years ago
As a senior citizen, my memory often has lapses, but this is a super way to help exercise the brain while storing Scripture verses that help you with many problems faced daily. Sometimes trying to sleep when your mind keeps you awake with "what ifs" or when you are trying to focus on a situation, but your mind keeps wandering off with detracting thoughts, etc... this is a simple but effective tool to help train your mind because you've stored Scripture within you to help you deal with these things. I've found my mind has become sharper as I continue to learn new Scripture, and in the past, I often struggled to come up with a Scripture that would help someone else, only I never could pull it to memory... now I can. I'm fortunate I was able to get a preview copy and got a jump on the project, and I already have a list to add to the ones Pastor Jason uses to get you started... there is even an app that will give you an additional 40 days of new words once you finish the original list. I highly recommend this for anyone, but especially for senior citizens who deal with memory problems... this is a great exercise to help with that problem. n addition, all royalties go to support The Call, which is an organization in Arkansas to help foster children through fostering and adoption Since I'm almost 78, I can tell you, if it works for me, it will work for you
