The initial survey showed three planets in the system; in wildly eccentric orbits, with a dense asteroid belt shrouding the star. When a freak accident strands the survey ship on a rogue moon, the rescue shuttle stumbles upon a fourth planet, Wuhl, obscured by the asteroids, in a Goldilocks orbit, polar axis locked towards its sun. Three intelligent races; two from the opposing poles of Wuhl, and another, spreading across the stars from Earth, are about to meet amongst the giant towering stems of the plantform....
