In all probability, The Rest of the Story is one of the most powerful and poignant stories you will ever read. It begins with Walter Crescent as a young man, mining for Placer gold on the Missouri River on the Lakota Sioux Tribal lands, and ends five generations later, in the year 2090. The story covers the lives, challenges, successes, and failures of each of the participants. As you 'peel back the layers' of the stories personalities, you'll find yourself asking... 'how would I have handled this?' I know this for fact, for I found myself doing the same thing, and I wrote the story. The Rest of the Story is soulful, it's exciting, and it's truthful in its own unique way. You'll bubble with excitement at times and cry at others. By the time you've read the last words, your outlook and perspective on life will have changed.... The soulful music of pianist Rosalind Rose Wilson set the mood for writing this story. If you're like me, find her music on any of several internet sources and let her put her magic to work for you as you read the story. The lyrics of two other favorites intertwined as well as I wrote the story; Drive ((c) The Cars, 1984) and Time ((c) Alan Parsons Project, 1981).
