HICKLEGLEE An American Allegory

Hickleglee is a land of peace and prosperity where rabbits, beavers, and birds thrive together. The land is governed by a council with representative from all warrens. All is well until a Rabbit named Thump is elected on the motto "Make Hickleglee Great Again". Racism and bigotry enter, immigration laws are enacted against all creatures with red fur. Gangs steal from the birds and smuggle tobacco, until four bunnies take on the corrupt dictatorship. They seek to topple the regime by entering their own candidate in the following election. Twists and turns abound, an alliance between a snake, beavers, starlings, and the rabbits takes place when the true horror is revealed. A weasel named Puton manipulates Thump and it all comes down to one final moment for the future of Hickleglee.
