My name is Sheila Hall, my daughter Mackenzie was born with a serious heart defect, AVSD, and has had to go through several heart surgeries to correct this. This has been very scary for me, my husband and especially Mackenzie. A psychologist recommended Mackenzie and I write a book to help her work through her worries and anxiety and help her deal with her upcoming surgery. Together she and I sat down and started writing down everything we had talked about over the last 7 years and from that we created this book. We hope by sharing our story it helps you too
