When he is captured by the warring Chief of the Omandags, Hiawatha conceives a plan to bring all the Iroquois Chiefs together, and with the aid of an old sage he convinces the tribes that as a unit they can accomplish much in peace. The play includes colorful dances and ancient rituals making this a truly remarkable theatrical experience. It was originally produced by Children's World Theatre of New York City.
