When I was little girl history class was the highlight of my eight hour school day. I used to imagine that I was part of the amazing stories that my teacher would read about. I was fascinated how every living being is a descendant of someone. As I got older I would ask my mother who were the people that came before her but family was something my mother didn't want to talk about. So I embarked on a journey to find my ancestors. Piece by piece I was able to mend the broken branches of my family tree by using different genealogy tools. I am the 6th generations of Jinny a slave woman of Richard and Henry Spann. I am a descendant of faith, hope and charity.
