Hey Mom! It's Jesus!

When I first picked up this book, I thought it would have cute stories about Jesus and Christmas. What I found instead were stories of profound faith. One child wrote that having Jesus reminded her that she was special just as she was. She said that the next time someone teased her about her weight that she would remember that Jesus was with her and loved her. Another told about having the baby Jesus figurine in her car. She wondered if other people could tell that she "Had Jesus". Through all of these stories the reader gets to know a little community in the south and to hear how Jesus was part of their everyday lives. I would recommend Hey Mom! It's Jesus! as a "must read" not only for every church member, but for anyone who needs to be inspired.
