A gentle, fun story with a moral

With a little different sensibility than USA readers are used to, this gentle story makes its point about selfishness in a way that will entertain toddlers and preschoolers. When frog slurps up all the water in the area, the other animals try their best to make him give it up. But only one can find frog's weakness...

An Entertaining Lesson

On a hot day in the savannah, a frog drinks and drinks until there is no more water. What will all the animals do? They all have ideas, but only one thing is sure to work.... In this simple story, Grobler teaches children some consequences of being greedy. His watercolor illustrations aptly portray the characters' emotions.
