Cassie Hughes (Christina Cole) slowly discovers her witchy past. This complicates her schooldays. Much of the sleuthing into the past is done by her sidekick, Thelma Bates (Jemima Rooper). Mysterious happenings and creatures keep popping up. Cassy uses her witchy powers to get even with the school snots. I read the reviews and thought witches, gothic, etc. It is the sleaziest love story with every kind of perversion possible. It runs very slowly, but if you fast-forward, you may miss a clue to a future situation. I finished off the first season and looked at the specials for the second season. In the second season, they just get weirder by introducing strange creatures of no redeeming value; they might have a shock value. In the long run, it will be a waste of time as it goes nowhere and is not fast.
