This book was fantastic!

This was very well-written and leaves you whispering "what the f***?", in the best way! The imagery depicted was perfect for fans of horror stories. I also loved the exploration of how fear and preconceived ideas bring out the darkest aspects of humanity. Highly recommend!

4.5 stars ~ One of the Best I have read in a very long time!

You know that book that comes along once in a Blue moon that ruins reading for a short time because nothing quite compares to it? Well, this is that book! This was the first book I read from Heuvelt, and the first thing I did after finishing it was order several other titles from this author. I dont want to say it re-invents the Witch story, but it comes close. A truly unique spin on an occult horror that you will certainly miss once you're done reading it. It's the gritty, raw, emotional, fully-fleshed out Book I didn't know I needed. Give this one a shot!
