This is a Historical Thriller using Stalin Purges as a major factor resulting from this fictional virus. It is stated that Stalin killed over ten million citizens during his time in office. The early part of the book revolves around that fact, but uses this disease as a rational to his actions. As the West observe from a great distance they saw Stalin conducting a purge of his military, and citizens of his nation who he claimed were a threat to his leadership. Not knowing the real reason the Western media reported that Stalin was killing dissidents and anyone who opposed him. The story continues as the KGB becomes aware that they are carries of the pathogen, who are only affected by its hypersexual stage and they are use in infecting POW in the Winter War and later German POW in WW2. The KGB and Russian military goes on to study the pathogen to become more knowledgeable of it. Eventually they developed it into a major biological weapon.
