Hercules: Thracian Son

The King of Thrace desires to capture a young man from the Bistones tribe, which lives on Lake Bistoni near the Aegean Sea. A dark beast also hunts for him as it kills every Thracian soldier and Bistones tribesman that stands in its way. Like Herakles, the young man possesses unusual strength, and the demigod later realizes that he is similar to him in many ways. The young man has always had dreams in which he sees a figure who is half-lion and half-human. At first, he believes that the figure is Herakles, but then he realizes it is the dark beast that desires to kill him. Herakles discovers that the young man and the dark beast are two halves of a single entity, one which has sprung from the hot gates and which threatens to consume the world. As a demigod, Herakles is in a unique position to kill the dark entity and allow the two halves to nullify each other.
