I knew nothing about herbs or how to identify them until I read this book. This is a must buy if you are interested in understanding the characteristics of each herb in more detail. I would like to see a more in-depth follow-up on this book from Karen Patterson touching on the medicinal application of herbs and how to use these herbs to enhance your cooking skills. A++

PATTERSON WRITES IN AN EASY TO READ STYLE WITH EASY TO REFERENCE ORGANIZATION. HER NEXT MOVE SHOULD BE TO WRITE A SEQUEL WITH MORE DETAIL ON THE SPECIFICS ON HERBAL USE.
