Good info for those studing British history

Sometimes I get confused reading British history and they start throwing out titles and "Lord", "Sir" or titles for people in government. This book helped me sort out what these meant and helped dispell some misconceptions I had about Heraldry too.

Should NEVER have been let go out of print!

Intended for the beginner, this non-threatening presentation of 161 questions and answers in 122 pages range from "Who can get a coat of arms?" and "Why do so many titles become extinct?" to "What is a Count Palatine?" (Well? Do you know?). Morganatic marriages, "of that Ilk," Jacobite titles, the royal family's surname, and the difference between "dormant" and "abeyant" -- all make this compulsive reading.
