Her Untold Secrets

The overt words that are written within these pages are being disclosed to speak to those that have painful secrets. My hope is that the reader will find their own voice and develop the strength to confront their trauma from the unspeakable acts that have silenced them regarding their past. The coward that we know as abuse desires to control the abused so they will not tell a soul about their trauma. The repetitive cycle of abuse leaves one with shame and embarrassment so they withdraw and seek to protect themselves by remaining silent. Although keeping the secret hidden deeply inside of them is causing them agony, it seems safer than releasing it and experiencing judgment from others. Abuse can torment one mentally and create uncertainty and distrust within themselves and towards others. As I have matured as an adult I have learned a valuable lesson about secrets, so I want to share this nugget with you
