The Office of Strategic Services, the wartime forerunner of the CIA, sent Karen Sommerhauser to Africa to stop Doctor Altmann. She failed. As she lay recovering from her wounds, she swore to never give up the hunt for the Nazi doctor. On a duty assignment in Los Angeles, she finds a surprising ally in a newlywed teenager and aspiring actress named Norma Jeane Dougherty. Karen and Norma Jeane-better known as Marilyn Monroe, become fast friends. Together, they won't be stopped. The action races across four continents and ends with the sound of gunfire echoing through the Hollywood Hills. Her Technicolor War is an espionage thriller set in the defining days of the past century. It is a fast paced, action/adventure saga, but it is also a tale of friendship, love, and loss. Author's Note-The historical framework of this book is generally true. The world events these characters experience are accurate for the 1940s. Karen Sommerhauser is a fictional character, but many women in the OSS and early CIA served as her model. Likewise with Dr. Altmann, several Nazi war criminals were studied to create his character.
