Iqra has always known the rules, even the unspoken ones. As a woman of colour, she moves through a Western world that questions her belonging as much as her own community defines it. As a Muslim, she carries expectations from both sides. When desire slips in, it unsettles everything. Caught between devotion and self, she navigates guilt, longing and identity. In the end, becoming is not defiance or surrender, but a return to who she truly is, and to Allah.
