David learns about British history and Henry VII's coat of arms, and the two boys flirt with disaster when they play too close to the dragon-shaped cannon on the prow of the barge. Safe on land, the boys take part in the lavish celebration the king holds for the birth of his new son, Prince Henry. David gets to ride a jeweled elephant and a camel, watches morality plays based on the lives of nine famous people from history, and attends an amazing feast where live birds fly out of pies. While David has fun, Columbus tries to convince King Henry to fund his trip. Will he succeed, or will he and David have to look elsewhere before they can finally set sail?
