What a wonderful book! Ms. Nightingale never strikes a false note as she describes the challenges of "having it all"-- marriage, children and career. There were passages in this book that had me roaring with laughter. I was particularly struck by her self disclosures her own foibles and that of her children. This is a funny book but the deepest impression left on the reader is the author's all encompassing love and respect for her children. I highly recommend it!
Absolutely delightful!

I am not a mother but have many friends who are and they tell me their stories. These are truly funny and enlightening! It is a must read and is a good reprieve for a mother before SHE goes crazy!
Help Me Before I Go Crazy: Adventures From A Working

Help Me Before I Go Crazy...confirms my long-held suspicion that in spite of the daily struggle to get little people out of bed, and into the tub, dressed, fed, and out the door with completed home assignments, signed permission slips, gym clothes and packed lunches in tow, there is a small current of unfathomable joy which every child brings to give Mommy another reason to do it all again the next day. My utmost respect is due to Ms. Nightingale, my sister, Traci, and the millions of moms who do this every day. It is truly the most important work you will ever do.

This was a great read. For those of you who are single and wonder why your married with children friends are always harried and screaming at their children, yet always beaming with pride, this is a must read. You will laugh at some of the adventures, cry at other moments and cheer along with the crowd in yet other moments. The writing style makes it an easy read and before you know it you will be sitting on your seat waiting for more.
Finally, A Mother Who Speaks!

Majorie Nightingale is a mom "extraordinare". When it comes to raising her 3 kids, its not that she does everything right, but she teaches mothers and mom's to be that there is both learning and secret joys to raising their child(ren). This book is so witty, and is filled with small nuggets of wisdom, I couldn't put it down, and found myself laughing hyserically at some of mom's crazy adventures.I highly recommend that all mothers grab a copy, buy copies for your girlfriends, sisters and co-workers. It's surely to become a best seller!Andrea E. Young, Esquirewife, mother, minister, lawyer
