Useful resource for when you're feeling fed up with people

What I like about this book is its concise explanation of how to relate to one another in what can sometimes feel like the trenches of day-to-day living. These are sensible principles that everyone can find useful: the value of an eternal perspective, differentiating between one's feelings and what's actually true, relating authentically, dealing with people who seem annoying and offensive, signs of healthy leadership, what living peaceably looks like, communication that doesn't slice and dice, and qualities of friendship. The book title may imply that it's about how to put up with "other" people. But it's really much more about discovering where the reader is "missing it" with practical steps for remaining on track and moving purposefully toward the goal beyond self. "Help!..." is worth re-reading and it makes a great gift, too.

Live like a Christian

Want to live like a Christian? Then I highly recommend this book. Susan's book is loaded with relevant "every-day" examples of situations any of us living in Christian-community either have or will come across and the Kingdom principle needed to apply to those situations. Biblically sound and highly practical, this book is a "must-read" and "must-apply". Susan gives the kind of wisdom and grace that only someone with years of practicing these Biblical principles could offer. I love the eternal-perspective along side the here-on-earth sensibility!

It's About Time!!!

There are a million and one relationship books addressing issues with one's spouse, one's self, and one's kids. Its about time a book came out that addresses relationships in general. "Help I'm Stuck with These People for the Rest of Eternity!" is an awesome "field guide" that is beneficial to anyone who interacts with other human beings. It offers practical advice and guidance on living with and working through the nitty gritty situations we all encounter at times. Even better, though, it offers perspective. This book is like an old trusted friend that you can sit with over coffee and glean perspective for a frustrating situation. It provides gentle attitude adjustments, as well as comfort. I highly recommend it.
