This book is designed to be a useful guide and reminder for Electronic Technicians. It is not written to be a tutorial or training manual. After reading the Safety section you should be ready to begin analyzing your monitor's problem. The Troubleshooting Flow Charts are the best place to start. Begin with the Preliminary Flow Chart and follow it to locate the specific chart it suggests. If you get confused or reach an impasse, go back to the top of the Flow Chart and start over. When you are reasonably sure you are working in the right circuit, read the Technician's Notes section that covers that circuit. The Technician's Notes section will help you with tips on usual problems and pitfalls. Adjustments and tracing techniques are included. When you are unsure of terminology use the Glossary section.
