Former supersoldier Paul Arine carves out a lonely existence in the overpopulated Prospect City on the planet of Grea. Paul suffers from post-traumatic stress due to his battle-worn experiences fighting the Mrulians, an alien race that has invaded Grea in order to eradicate all human life. After spending more than 10 years fighting the aliens, Paul wants to be left alone. However as the war against the Mrulians worsens, Paul is called back by his former commander to lead a charge against the newly discovered monstrosity that is producing the Mrulians. Paul reluctantly agrees to go back and with a small team of troops he sets out to save all mankind while finally uncovering his own unique abilities.
