This Helliston series has a very personal meaning and comes from a place of extreme comfort and knowledge of the characters. And let this be a warning to those who practice deception...sometimes you don't know who the storyteller will be. If anyone in this series of books resonates with you, our job has been well done.

When people feel the need to manipulate others, often it is because of the personal insecurity they have. Deception can be a tricky thing, and I advise you to never get yourself in that kind of mess. We love the idea that the truth will always come out, and usually it does. In cases where manipulation tactics are being used, however, it usually takes a lot longer for that verity to be revealed. And sometimes, by the time facts do come out, the damage may have been already done. Don't believe everything ANYONE tells you, not even your family sometimes. "You'll never get in trouble if you tell the truth." We highly recommend reading the About This Author section and the back cover of this book thoroughly before engaging in the novel series, and please, start with Part One so you can receive all the context.
