Affordable and Delicious Southern and Southern Border Recipes This cookbook is a collection of some of our Southern family's most delicious recipes that I get asked to make over and over again. You'll find meats and main dishes, soup recipes, side dishes and desserts. Affordable, down home cooking at its best.There are 38 topnotch recipes and each recipe has at least one photo. Instructions are clear and detailed and some have photos in the instructions as well for further clarity. The ingredients called for are mostly every day items that you'll find already in your pantry or your local grocery store. These dishes are a tradition in our family, most were passed down from my Grandmother and other family members and those recipes were passed down to them. I've added a modern twist to some of the really old one's as well as created some new dishes myself and hope my recipes will be passed down one day too!I began putting all my favorite recipes in digital format to have them all in one place for easy access. Once I finished that project I realized I had written a family cookbook! All I had to do was go back and cook the dishes and take photos. What an heirloom to pass down I thought!
