Heeding the Ancestral Call

By Iya Ifalola Aboyade Omobola

With no holds barred "Heeding the Ancestral Call" weaves a vivid tale of personal growth and discovery against the backdrop of late 20th century United States. Iya Ifalola Aboyade Omobola brings you along for the ride of your life - her life as an African American woman, social activist, mother, and - as we enter the 21st century - high priest in the Yoruba tradition of West Africa. Her personal no-nonsense narrative draws you in on a roller coaster ride of political intrigue, esoteric adventure and self awakening. "Heeding the Ancestral Call" demands we all take a long hard look at what we perceive of life, love and community.
