This book was written to help anyone that may be experiencing a hearing problem. Many times we are afraid to get help because we are afraid of the unknown or the consequences. In this book the parents of hector did not want Hector to get hearing aids because they feared that other children would laugh at him. We live in an era where technology is so beneficial to us. We have to embrace this era and take advantage of how it will make our life so much better. No-one should be ashamed to wear hearing aids because they will enrich the life of the person that will wear them. If we choose not to wear them then it will create many problems especially one's self esteem
