This book consists of research on a branch of the Heberden family which emigrated out of England to India, back to England, then to Ontario, and then on to Bellingham, Washington. Although many chapters deal with the origins of the Saxon name, Heberden, and the history surrounding it, much of the latter half of the book will have little interest to anyone, except perhaps as a model for such work. Otherwise, it is mainly destined for members of the Bellingham family, and does not include extensive family trees or ancestry work concerning other branches and emigrations out of England of the Heberden family.
