Young Jordan, who is trying to strive for her dreams, experiences tragedy along the way. Popular by day but struggling with depression by night, she has three brothers, and she's the middle child. Her mother is never home due to working and running the streets. Jordan hooks up with her brother's friend, who is her crush, and they share some of the same similarities, but he pushes her to go after her dreams. Her younger brother dies trying to follow in their big brother's footsteps, which was the streets. She follows her passion, which is to sing, so her grandma takes her to church, where she begins to sing. Then her family rekindles their love for one another.
