Her cool sexy demeanor betrays nothing, but twenty-nine-year-old Heather Hurley suffers from major anxiety attacks -- her life in L.A. isn't going exactly as planned. Now, in a bar near her hometown... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I totally disagree with the people who knocked this book.It was a light, easy, enjoyable book to read. Joan Brady does a good job creating traits & flaws in the lead character that we can all relate to and see in ourselves; therefore, God's personal commandments, in both books, are relevant & could be followed by all!

Heaven in High Gear is a true sequel to God on A Harley...Joe is back, guiding the young woman he saw in the bar with Christine at the end of "God"...True to his word, he teaches her the guidlines that will change and enpower her life for the better...Great read, never pounding you over the head with scripture, yet getting the point across fully.

This book was incredible. I enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed her other book "God on a Harley". I could relate to it in so many ways even though it wasn't based on anyones life. I really hope that she keeps the books coming. This is a definate must read book!!

I enjoy reading metaphysical and spiritual books and found this one to be exceptionally enlightening. It is very easy to read and comprehend and have highly recommended it and will be buying copies for all my family and friends. I am looking forward to reading more of Ms. Brady's books.
Requires a Higher Calling

Heaven In High Gear surpasses the excellence of Ms. Brady's God On A Harley. This book like her first offering gives a different insight into the accepted views of spirituality and perceptions about who God is and how He moves in our lives. It speaks to anyone who has felt heartbreak, insecurity, or abandoned by the One Above. It is not preachy or theological, instead it is insightful and philosophical. It speaks as a soft reassuring whisper rather than a loud, in-your-face blare. Just as it should. It requires you to look inside yourself instead of forcing preconceived views down your throat.
