I was suddenly awakened at 3:30 in the morning. I quickly sat straight up in bed. I stared at a figure standing at my bedroom door; it was the Blessed Virgin Mary. We stared at each other; her face was serious, and a chill ran through me. She held in her hands a round glowing ball. There is no doubt in my mind that it represented the world. I will never forget her face, beautiful and glowing. She was trying to tell me something. After this experience, I could not go back to sleep. I wondered what Mary was trying to tell me. This curiosity consumed me for years after that incredible encounter. As time went on, I realized that I was blessed with many gifts.
