Dear Prof. KammI am very glad to hear that you will prepare the 2nd edition of yourtextbook in the near future and I am proud to be one of the instructorsin a foreign university who teaches your valuable textbook.However, during the past 20 years of my teaching career it is the firsttextbook that I ever seen to deal with thermodynamic concepts in such asimple and different manner which try to encourage the students to be willing to learn the thermal concepts. The subjects that you coveredin your textbook make my students to try to discuss the thermodynamicsconcepts and their applications to industrial processes.
