This book was written for all men who could benefit from a little inspiration in expressing written words of love to their wives. The notes presented in this book were written to my wife over a span of time out of my belief that love without enactment is merely a word. Without deliberate intentions to keep love lively, the business of life can easily choke out time for expressing love. If you're like me, your upbringing may not have equipped you with a vast vocabulary of tender words, and written tender words may come more easily than those that are spoken. With practice, I've found that the scope of tender expressions naturally includes references to offshoots of love such as trust, encouragement, gratitude, faith, commitment, kindness, affection, protection, and definitely to the source of all love, our Heavenly Father. The notes herein cycle around to all of these, composed most often as an overflow out of prayer and scripture reading early in the day. Daybreak is a fitting time to reaffirm love. As dramatic as it sounds, we never know what each day holds nor which day may be our last. In this compilation, there are enough notes for five days a week, 52 weeks of the year to prompt the caring habit and to inspire other men who might like to do the same for their wives.
