Heart Trips

Heart Trips is a collection of poems which take various forms, some structured with meter, others free-verse. Some are written like song lyrics and some tell a story. All of them though, attempt to examine the depths of human nature. These poems often correlate aspects of environmental nature with human nature. Though at times seemingly dark and oppressive, the poems are, in every case, honest. Various elements work their way through the poems as well, such as politics and religion. There is a strong hatred for hypocrisy among some. Regardless of the various themes, the main idea is to convey a sense of the human condition, especially one which is wracked with uncertainty and confusion toward and ever changing world.
